On December 9th, the EPC contract advance payment was received for the Communication Coverage Project in Remote Areas of Tanzania (referred to as the "Tanzania Rural Network Project"), marking its official entry into the implementation phase.
This project aligns with the strategic goals of Tanzania’s Five-Year Development Plan, aiming to improve livelihoods and accelerate the provision of comprehensive and stable network coverage across Tanzania’s vast rural regions. It seeks to bridge the urban-rural digital divide and promote the informatization and modernization of rural areas. Upon completion, the project will significantly enhance the quality of network communications in rural areas, laying a solid digital foundation for the economic development.
