On December 13th, leadership from Genertec CNTIC attended the launch and grid connection ceremony for key energy projects in Uzbekistan, where the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered a speech, highly commending China’s contributions to Uzbekistan’s energy structure transformation and socioeconomic development. The team from the Tashkent 100MW CHP investment project participated in the ceremony via live video link.
In their remarks, company leadership expressed that Genertec is committed to leveraging the new phase of high-quality development under the Belt and Road Initiative to actively expand its development footprint across various sectors in Uzbekistan. The company will fully advance its first energy sector investment project in the country, effectively promoting the country’s transition to green energy and better benefiting the people.
Attendees at the ceremony included the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan; the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure and Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of UAE; the Saudi Minister of Energy; the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, as well as representatives from relevant investors.
