CNTIC and the Export-Import Bank of China signed Export Buyer’s Credit Cooperation Agreement

Mr. Wu Duoyu and Sun Weiming, Vice Presidents of CNTIC, met with a visiting group of 7 officials from the Export-Import Bank of China headed by Liang Xiang, Assistant President, and Li Xiaoping, General Manager of the Export Credit Department, at Genertec Plaza on September 29, 2005. CNTIC managers with various administrative departments and the Head Department of Overseas Engineering took part in the meeting. The two sides conducted friendly negotiation and reached an agreement on the Bank’s grant of export buyer’s credit to CNTIC to explore overseas market. In the coming 3 years, the Bank will endorse CNTIC with a line of export buyer’s credit at US$1.5 billion for overseas investment, overseas engineering contracting, and export of mechanic and electronic products, set equipments and high and new technological products.

After the meeting, the two sides held the signing ceremony of the “Export Buyer’s Credit Cooperation Agreement”. Vice President Sun Weiming chaired the ceremony. Vice President Wu Duoyu and Assistant President Liang Xiang also delivered speeches at the ceremony. CNTIC Vice President Wu Duoyu and General Manager Li Xiaoping of the Export Credit Department of the Bank signed on the Cooperation Agreement on behalf of the two sides respectively.
