Reviewed by Classification Society Quality Assurance Ltd. (CSQA) and approved by its evaluation panel, China National Technical Import & Export Corporation (CNTIC) has been awarded a new version of ISO9001:2000 certification approved by both China National Accreditation Board for Certifiers (CNAB) and British Royal Accreditation Committee (UKAS). The certification is a recognition of CNTIC’s quality management system and will be valid for three years.
In 2001, CNTIC began to implement the ISO9001:2000 quality management system. Since then, the high level management together with all employees has made great efforts to honor its commitment to clients on quality guideline and objectives, to ensure the constant improvement of its quality management system, and to guarantee the adaptability and effectiveness of its quality management system to the standard. As a result, all CNTIC employees have become more aware of quality control. In the past three years, the quality management system has been a guarantee for the Corporation in its restructuring, operation transformation, bidding for large state projects and operation risk prevention.
In 2004, CSQA has reviewed and renewed CNTIC’s certificate. After on-spot examination, its panel gave high credit to CNTIC’s quality management system, with CNTIC’s quality management documents completely in line with ISO9001:2000 standards. The certified operation processes are well under control, and the system is operating effectively.
