On October 15th, the contract signing ceremony for the project of Qinghai-Tibet railway locomotive procurement was held at Genertec Plaza. CNTIC acts as the agent for locomotive procurement and the Ministry of Railways provides the funding for the project. Director general Sun Jingbin, Deputy director-general Zhang Shuguang of the Transportation Bureau of the Ministry of Railways, Director-general Hu Shukai of the Construction Office of Qinghai-Tibet railway, officials from the Development Planning Department and Finance Department of the Ministry of Railways, vice general manager Zhang Ru’en of theChina General Technology (Group) Holding, Limited, and CNTIC vice-president Liu Debing and Zhang Zhonghua attended the signing ceremony. The ceremony was presided by vice-president Zhang Zhonghua and vice-president Liu Debing signed the contract on behalf of the Corporation.
