On June 1, the Dongguan base station energy storage and power saving service project invested by China Daqian Technology Import and Export Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Technical IMP & EXP Corp (CNTIC), officially entered the period of commercial operation. During the trial operation of the project, the energy storage equipment ran smoothly, the charge & discharge indicators and income exceeded the design expectations, and the average cycle efficiency exceeded 91%, taking a leading position in the industry.
This project is the first pioneering practice of peak-valley arbitrage by mass use of large-capacity energy storage battery solutions in the scenario of communication base stations in China. Through the application of new technologies such as intelligent lithium batteries, edge metering and computing, wireless cloud-edge collaboration, and big data of the Internet of Things, it has formed the whole life-cycle management capability of large-capacity energy storage devices in the scenario of communication base stations, making important contributions to reducing electricity costs and improving carbon emission indicators for users.
