On December 20, 2023, Vietnam time, the Luxshare Precision (Van Trung) rooftop photovoltaic power generation project invested and developed by Genertec CNTIC was completely installed. Located in the Van Trung Industrial Park, Bac Giang Province, 50 kilometers away from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, it is a self-generation and self-consumption project with a generating capacity of 20.048MWp.
It is currently the largest distributed PV project in northern Vietnam. After put into operation, the project is expected to provide 21 million kWh of clean electricity for Luxshare Precision (Van Trung) factory every year, which is equivalent to saving 6,800 tons of standard coal and reducing nearly 20,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. In the whole life cycle, it will contribute 5.5 million US dollars in local tax revenue, support the green and healthy development of the Vietnamese economy, and help Vietnam achieve the carbon free energy goal as soon as possible.
