On March 21, Genertec CNTIC and the Power Grid Corporation of Bangladesh (PGCB) signed a contract for the project (P3) of Ananda Bazar, Khulshi and Madunaghat 230kV substations in Bangladesh. The project is the third tender section of the Chittagong Power Grid Upgrading Project in Bangladesh with a loan from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). It includes construction of a new 230kV GIS substation in Ananda Bazar, upgrade of the existing 230kV GIS substation in Khulshi, and expansion of the 230kV GIS substation in Madunaghat in the vicinity of Chittagong Special District.
